We have had a number of songs through the years but the most important one to US is "An Affair to Remember". It was from the movie of the same name with Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr and we seen it on our first date in March 1959.
Seems like it was yesterday.
Best wishes, Bill
Love the movie, love the song.
One thing about true love, and the memories made by it, they always seems like yesterday, and always will
Best wishes, Lynn

Holding onto anger is like drinking poison and expecting the other the person to die ......

Why that one Tom? Don't you think "you shook me all night long" would have been better . How bout "I've got big balls", Oh wait I forgot who I was talking to Sorry bro. If it makes you feel better mine is "really small".....
Is it wrong that I don't remember what song was playing when my wife and I had our "first dance" at our wedding in '00?

In my defense, there's A LOT I don't remember after the first part of the reception.
Don't bother to ask about my best friend's wedding. I'm fairly certain I renedered a toast as the best man.......

I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.
Was reading the first date thread, which lead to me thinking about songs we hear that stick out in our minds when it comes to the love of our life. You know "Your song as a couple". Do you have one ? Do you remember when you first heard it together ?
