Here is a brown from the Savage river in Westrn Md. Older carving. The newer ones are better. Used rose thorns for the teeth. Browns are as fine a fighter, and eatin' trout as I'm aware of - that 'n' looks a bit tough though. >grin<

Y's and dots. Interestingly, the pattern continues down the sides, just expands. You just have to try to not be too consistant. Gotta have a bit of a brave, wild hair and not be too structured. I guess there is a perfect one out there, but I like to do them a little loose.

Did a watercolor of a Golden - gave it to my dad. Used to do a lot of watercolors as studies. Nothing fancy, but they were pretty.

My girlfriend caught it a little pond in front of her families cabin. Brookies are my favorite to catch and eat too. I love fishing all the little streams and beaver ponds. Its amazing how some of them little guys will hit a lure almost as big as them.
