I have a Tikka T3 and I want to get a pair of Talley Lightweight rings for it. The scope is a Burris 4-14x42. I just want to know what heigth to get so that the objective will clear the barrel. Thanks.

I use low Tikka rings on my 2.5-8x36 Leupold scopes with plenty of room.

Call Gary at Talley and ask him what would work best with that specific scope. I use Talley lows on my Tikka T3 300WM with VX-3 4.5-14x40 and they work great!

I have a 4.4X14X40 Leupie on mine with lows. About 1/4 inch clearence.
