A friend wants to buy my 1971 straight stocked saddle ring Texan. What the heck. I have only taken it hunting once, and don't shoot it but maybe once a year. $500 including the new Pentax 1.75-5x scope. I am happy, he is happy.
It looks good Mannlicher. Don't you wish all of your other assets would increase in value by 5 or 6 times...or more? I bought a brand spankin' new one, from Target (of all places), in 1979 for 99 bucks!

I've got a Texan (no saddle ring) set up w/an XS front and Williams peep. I've come close but never could quite part with it. It has the best trigger of any Marlin lever I've ever owned.
