Hope everyone had a great Easter Weekend!

Thought I would share some pics of a couple of knives I just received, first is a really nice full size model by Jason Winston. The one thing (besides how great it looks) that I wanted to share was how the handles felt, they are very grippy due to a surface texture that Jason added, I will email Jason and David and see if they will share what the did to the handles to make them feel this way. I'm also a big fan of Thumb Ridges for enhanced grip!

The next is a very special Dozier Custom Drop Point. This one has Trophy Himalayan Sheephorn handles, Red Liners, Tapered Tang, Thong hole ~ a beauty to see and a joy to hold.

More pics and further info on my website. Any questions drop me a line via my Site.

Thanks
Vince

Wow. Those are both very nice. The blade on that Dozier sure looks good.

I really like the looks and blade shape on that Winston, scales set it off perfect.

Both are very nice. I really like the sheep horn scales on the Dozier.

The handle look's like the model 50.

The texture (grip) I believe is beadblasted no trade secret.

I talked with David this evening and sure enough, it is Glass Bead Blasted on the handles. I have felt alot of Bead Blasted handles but these are by far the grippiest (if that is a word).

And whoever asked, it is a Model 50 - good eyes.

Just as a heads up Jason has another Model 50 in Elk Antler that he will be posting soon wink Not that anyone here needs to spend any more money on gear or anything...

I have a combo pack coming this week of a 38 and a 42 that I ordered around Christmas or early Jan that has the orange G10 bead blasted... looking more and more forward to it.

Thanks for sharing

Fort Henry...

The "grip" texture of bead blasting can vary due to the grit size used in the blaster and the material used.
Larger beads or softer handle material will cause the surface to be rougher.
This of course is JMHO.
