Had to get a new computer recently and it's running Windows7.
Also am running AVG. Problem is with e-mail received. Am involved with several Classic car groups and we swap pictures on a daily basis. Anything that is sent to me cannot be veiwed. What settings is preventing this?

Could you have the max size email or download set to small?

Sent to you via an attachment? Or you can't view pictures within the email itself?

What program are you using to view the email? Outlook? Internet explorer and an internet mail site like hotmail? Thunderbird?

Can't view any regular e-mails. Can open any attachments that I receive. My e-mail is set-up with gmail by Google. Everything worked fine till my old computer died. New computer works great except for this e-mail problem.

Check the settings. It seems as if gmail is not showing the pictures as a security setting, because some viruses/spam can be sent through pictures.
