The real question is, how many lightbulb changers does it take to change a lightbulb? Answer: depends on whether it's union. Non union- 1. Union- 3. One to do the work, one to take a standard break or just stand around and bitch about work conditions, and one to take notes on whether all safety procedures are followed.

If I was hungry and needed a job and this was the only one available, I think I'd just go ahead and put a round in my head.
No way,...just no way.

Thanks for posting that link. I've seen it before and it is unreal to me. I'm a retired electric utility lineman that worked up in the air for almost thirty years and that video makes me feel like I worked on the ground.

Yikes!!! It just freaks me out that you would have take 3-4 breaths to scream before becoming taco pizza!! Mike

I climbed a LORAN-C tower in Jupiter Florida once - 550" tall. I did not however, do it free-climb, nor did I climb in an open environment and climb up the mast! These guys have big brass ones!

If I ever managed to get up there IF It would take eight strong men to break each of my fingers to get me to release my grasp so they could dart my screaming body and remove me. Bear

Wouldn't be a bad gig, good excercise and you get to spend time outside. I imaging the pay isn't too bad.

sent that to a friend who will get sweaty palms just watching it.... I've rock climbed to heights greater than that above "ground", and my palms still started to get sweaty. Where's the gymnast's chalk when you need it? That said, I could probably do it, but I'd like to work my way up to the 1768' level gradually. Maybe start at about 1000' or so
