I believe my samples from Kryptek were made in Vietnam, but not sure if that's where they have it all made. They work with overseas manufacturers who make all the major brands, such as Mountain Hardwear, The North Face, and Arcterex...to name just a few. Larry Bartlett, still wondering how hard will it be to hem the pants. Is there a full length zipper involved.

I did have a chance to preview it last time I met Larry in Squarebanks. It looks very well made and designed. I think the stuff will be tough to beat for quality. When you factoring in the price point they're talking, I think Cabela's is going to sell a ton of the stuff.
I know that I'm going to wear it when I sheep hunt this August, and the camo pattern should be perfect.

The price point is "wallet friendly" because the clothing is assembled in Vietnam. There are those that will complain but it is economic reality.

Bigwhoop, not sure about hemming, to be honest. The Alois pants are the main kit you'll wear on a daily basis, and they appear easily hemmed, as there is no velcro adjustment on them...just a straight flare that fits over the boot. I haven't needed to hem these pants.
The rain gear is also generous, but they do have a velcro adjustment on them, along with a zipper on the lower leg, so hemming them would be difficult.

Sitka may be resting on their name and know they can get the higher price. A new upstart company may be willing to forego some profit to get there products out there in the field. Good unsolicited reports are every bit as good as any ads.

larry Larry, What I have done in the past is to remove the zipper completely. I hem the pant and see where I'm at with the zipper "slit". Most times I sew in a strip of velcro where the zipper was. It takes some time but you have a pair or two that fit really well.
