NOW MY VOTE IS FOR THE SQUIRREL MEAT BUT I HEAR TELL SASQUATCH SMOTHERED IN JIM BEAM CAN BE QUITE NICE ALSO. OF COURSE IF THE SASQUATCH BE OF THE RED MEAT VARIETY IT MIGHT GO NICE WITH A LITTLE MERLOT. SINCE I HAVE ONLY HEARD ABOUT THEM FROM NORTH WESTERNERS (THAT'S WHERE THEY GROW ALL THOSE WINE GRAPES) I KIND OF FIGURE THAT SASQUATCHES HAVE BEEN HATCHED FROM THOSE WINE BOTTLES THAT ARE SO COMMON OUT THERE. THINKING ABOUT IT , SQUIRREL BASTED IN A WINE AND BUTTER SAUCE MAKES MY MOUTH WATER. THIS LITTLE FRIVOLITY MIGHT HAVE SOME PURPOSE AFTER ALL!

Squacks,
Merlot with sasquatch? I thought sasquatch was "the other white meat" or is it tom cat? I'd still have to vote for squirrel.

Well, you know what they say about Sasquatch- "if you can get past the smell, you got it licked!"
At least I think that is what they were talking about!-[Linked Image]- Sheister

My Mexican friends like to cook the Sasquatch head over a bed of coals in a hole in the ground. Barboca de Sasquatch they call it. Only the Sasquatches south of the border are smaller than the Northern Sasquatch. No Merlot either, Mescal.

I drank some of that mescal once, at least that what they told me I drank. But I'm not sure if I ate any sasquatch head or not, it was probably tom cat.

I have found that a small one inch cube of Sasquach does wonders for a bowl of track soup. Kinda like the pork in pork and beans. TM

I would have to say the sasquatch would be the best. They must be as they are so rare because our grandaddies ate most of them. My 2 cents worth.

sarge: you may have enjoyed catacos and purritos with mescal but i still feel that a tomcats sole purpose in life is to provide yote food and banjo covers! thinking about it it is as useful a purpose as any. squirrel slow cooked in sweet baby rays bbq sauce is beyond description! of course the mescal would be good following. luck!

Squirrel slow cooked in BBQ sauce is good. Never heard of sweet baby rays though. To be quite honest, I don't want to ever have another drink of mescal, but without it I could never have gotten down those catacos and purritos.

TACKDRIVER: A few of my mexican friends tell me the reason that they put all those hot peppers in the food down there is because the food is so awful! the peppers cover the taste! and if they are eating sasquatch, catacos and purritos i can see why they need all those peppers. but mostly the mescal! luck!

Squacks: True Story, I had dog tamales outside of Tampico MEX. Bought them from a kid selling them out of a five gallon bucket. He made no bones about the meat being dog, like it was an every day thing. My buddy did not speak any Spanish and all we had been eating was caned turkey for a week. Those sure smell good. I think Ill buy me some.
About 20 minuets after we finished eating, we were back on the road, he said, I wonder what kind of meat that was? I told him the little kid told me pero. Whats that? Dog I replied. When we stopped that night I made him clean the puke off the side of my truck.

TackDriver - It was my understanding that was the preparation method for chupacabra. Oh, well, perhaps they
prepare Sasquatch in the same manner!

Chupcacabra = south of the border sasquatch. Up here we slow roast them on a pine plank. Throw the meat away and eat the plank!
