I was curious if anyone has any patterns, or knows of a website to print out free ones?

Check out Jose Valencia. He has a book out Carving Gunstocks that has patterns in it.He has "how to" in it with high speed tools. Carving Gunstocks www.shifferbooks.com

PM sent to you on carving stocks. I have made all styles of stocks with carving or checkering. Most gunsmiths don't try this type of work and only know how to make the classic style with plain simple checkering. I always made the styles the customer wanted. (moderns, muzzleloaders, and classic)

That's the one. It has three differnt mule deer head pattern. Some swirls some oak leafs and some basket weave. Not a lot, but some. Most of the book is how to. It is about using high speed dental air driven tools to do the carving.I checked into it and new tools are a couple grand.But you can get one for about $350 from a repair outlet
