Looking for info on a Tikka T3 Stainless / Laminate. I would like to know what bases and rings you guys use for this rifle? I would like to know all of my choices and what bases and mounts are optimum or work best.
Thanks

I may be wrong, but the stainless T-3 Lite that I looked at came with bases and rings.

Great rifle. I have the .308 and it is a tack driver out of the box. I used the bases and rings that came with it, put a Nikon Monarch 3 x 9 x 40, hunted all season with it and it still holds zero.

They do come with rings that clamp to milled bases on the receiver. They are also drilled and tapped. I started out with the supplied rings and went to Burris bases and rings since I wanted to use their Signature rings with the plastic inserts. Sako optiloks can be had for about 3x the money from the burris's too. I'm sure lots of companies make mounts for this gun now but back when I set mine up Burris or Optiloks were about it. Truth be known, I'll likely put the stock rings back on since they weight about as much as a postage stamp and did the job great. The gun balance better with them on too. That might not matter to you since your model is heavier than mine off the bat. Best wishes!
