I still have a bunch of rounds loaded with 39 gr of H414 with a Nosler Ballistic Tip to shoot up, but the 38.5 gr of Ramshot Big Game under the same bullet does shoot more accurately.

Since no ones listed it, don't overlook RL15 with a 50 gr NBT. I load 38 grs with a Fed210M primer and get 3833fps in my 22" barrel. It not only beat my old standby of IMR4895 in velocity but accuracy too.

My pet load is 41gr of H380 pushing a 40gr NBT. 4007 fps and 5 shot "cover with a dime" accuracy if you do your part.

I just tried 50 grain v-max's with 36.5 of Varget, just touching the lands, and was fairly impressed. I haven't experimented much, as I am new to reloading, but thats the same exact load my 700VS likes. 3/8" average groups.

RL-15 under a 50 Vmax is a good thing.

Other stuff works well but RL15 has been absolute best for me with 50's. In 6 different 22-250/22-250AI's, Reloder 15 has given highest velocity along with best accuracy.

For a 40 Gr V-max I use 39.5 gr of Varget;
or
36.5 gr Varget for a 55 NBT
This plus Kimber 84M Classic Varmint 26" with 6-24X Sightron S2 equals DEAD Prairie rats!

I admit to going one grain over max listed...and that yields an MV of a little over 4450 fps.. With a ballistic tip, it is a fairly flat shooting little bugger...also tried with Sierra Blitz Kings and they worked well also..

The one I had liked Varget with Speer 50 spitzers, I think it was 36.5 but not sure. It also shot the Sierra Blitzkings with the same charge very well as well.
It also liked W-748 with the Speer 52 HP.

i just picked up a nother 22-250 in a VSSF and loaded up 36g of benchmark under a 40g NBT with a cci 250. Just seated it to 2.350 as the book had listed and went to the range. It clocked 4208fps and grouped in the .3 range.
I bought the rifle with the intention of parting it out to build something else on the stock and action. But, I made the mistake of shooting the doner again and now I'm stuck with another 22-250. Wonder what it'll do once I clean it and do a little load development?
