I'm interested in getting a rangefinder. I don't want to spend huge money, but want decent quality.

Hunting is mainly deer and elk.

Any particular good bargains out there?

I'll be getting my new Bushnell Elite 1500 tomorrow.

I bought it based on most of the reviews I read on this unit.

This is the basic 1500 without ARC and VSI which I really have no need for.

This is the most ranging performance I could find for $163 shipped.

I'm certain it can't compete with a Leica or Swarovski but then they don't cost $163 either.

nsaqam,

Where did you find that rangefinder for that price. Sounds like a deal to me. TIA Jim.

Got it on Ebay from a store in Fayetteville NC.

I just looked and it cost me $168.50 shipped rather than the $163 i quoted earlier.

Seemed like a whole lot of rangefinder for that price.
