Quickly, on an SAE wrench set size zero up to an inch, Which do you use the least, which do you use the most?
I thought of this last night when I had to reach for a size I rarely use.
I've got my least used size picked out but I'm gonna hold on & see if anybody else answers the same first.
1/2" is probably the most common for me to use.
Something clever here.

Half or 9/16 most common. Least used? Probably an inch.

The most used is the one I can't find.
The least used is the one I inevitably grab when looking for the one I need.

9/16th the most
1 the least, seems every nut that gets that size bypasses 1, 7/8 gets used some and then it seems if it's bigger than that, on to something bigger than 1
don't know why that is, but that's been my experience

Most used, probably 1/2"
Least used, 11/16" probably still has the price sticker on it.

Cresent wrench; answers both questions.
Naw, I would have to say most used is 9/16 and least used is 11/16.

Well, it fits easier than a 5/8 especially if you are in a hurry. Back in the dark ages when I made my living pulling wrenches, Ford used more 11/16 than everybody else put together. Strange.

9/16" and 1/2" jump right out. I use a 5/8" for changing oil a lot though and a 5/16" for tightening battery terminals.
I got no idea about the least-used. One size that is odd but I seem to need from time-to-time, is the 1 1/8". Lots of sets skip that size for some reason, going right from 1" to 1 1/4". Buying like, 1 1/8", 1 1/16" and 1 3/16" sizes individually ain't cheap either. Lots of times an adjustable just won't work too.

My least used is a 13/16, I pulled it out last night to remove seatbelt bolts from a 69 plymouth. At a quick glance I grabbed a 7/8 and a 3/4 and kind of knew I was wrong with both choices

Dang, lot of people saying 11/16, I use that sucker a lot! Same here. I don't have 1" wrench but if I did I say that would be the least used. I hardly ever use a 1" socket. The most used? I don't know how to answer that one. ?????? 7/16" 1/2" 9/16" ? ? ?

So true, I've gone to town on a saturday before to buy one stupid 1 1/16 before. It does come out from time to time though. Seems some of my trailer hitch ball nuts are that size? The 15/16 sees a lot of use on my old tractor too. But that 13/16, that guy rides the bench for years between uses.
Something clever here.

Actually I use 1 1/8" quite a bit. It fits 3/4" bolts.
