Go to purchase a license online and you can see what you already have on file. For a resident it should say 580 res elk. If you drew nothing it will say 480 res elk app.
exobiologist - I've been waiting and hoping you would post this. Just took a peek... 2011 - 480 RES ELK APP Crap. Does this mean I'm screwed for deer, too? 2011 - 490 RES DEER APP No. the deer drawing has not been done yet. Also, I would not give up all hope. Seems to me that some people's back door was posted later than others last year. If not by tomorrow, I would worry though

Bear is already posted, go to the draw results screen. Until they post real results for elk, it will only show the 580 etc, through the backdoor method.

not for residents, just for nonresidents due to the price difference

Looks like Colorado archery elk for me, although no big suprise as I had 3pts for my normally one pt unit. Hate to have to turn it in for a Gila tag, come on NM draw.

No change or me, looks like I'm screwed again.
Will probably get a buck tag as I had 2 Pref Points. Unless my second choice elk comes in or there are leftover cow tags, it looks like we'll probably be hunting OTC bull tags where the deer tags are valid - 12, 13, 23 and 24. Have hunted that area 3 times with no luck - twice back in the 80's and once in 2005. Don't know it nearly as well as our regular stomping grounds but what the heck - its all about fun anyway.

When you posted the quotas that they were going to approve I had a bad feeling. Dropped cow ML tags by 50% in my DAU in the SW part of the state.
Gee - I may have to get a an OTC Archery Tag! I hate it when that happens!

They already got my sheep and moose checks back. I'd guess refunds on elk by end of May probably, worst case first week of June.
