Just tied up a few after seeing this innovation in a recent fly tying mag. Neat concept.
Use a standard pin lashed and zapagapped down to extend a small conehead out from the hook about 2/3 of an inch. Tie the sculpin head on the extension.
It swims much like the reel thing -- slow, side to side, motion, right on the bottom. Relatively snagless too. Leeches would work too...

I can't post picts here but can send some to your email address. I'll be tying some up this evening -- wife permitting--and will take some special care to avoid the 'raggedy' look I -- and the fish -- prefer.
