Ok, I have a Win 94BB in 356Win coming and would like to try a Hornady 200gr FTX will it work ? Or is it to long of a bullet to cycle in the 94 ?

They were designed for a levergun and are used in the 35 Rem so all you have to do is seat the bullet deep enough to feed correctly. I plan on using them in my Marlin 336 356 Win over the 220 gr Speers I now use.

Best to shorten the case to suit the bullet crimp for the OAL.

I'm waiting for the FTX bullets that I've ordered for my .356 to turn up. If you have the time, I'll post the trim length when I've worked it out.

If not have a search for William (Slim) Iorg, either here or over at Beartooth and amongst his prestigious volume of work will be that answer.

I bought some for my 356 Win, but sold it before shooting them. I have, however, shot them out of 358 Win. and really like their performance on deer and an occasional coyote.

They are too lightly constructed even for the .35 Remington.

I asked hornady and they said it would nicely on elk from the 356. I will be trying them soon. Also Hornady does have loading data.
