We made it to Zippel bay SP. Got here about 2.30 and set up. Hit the water after supper and found a floatilla of boats just out of the bay on the main lake by by the first rock marker. Fished all of ten min. till I landed a nice eater. Wife got a couple of small ones and then I got another nice eater. Headed back in cleaned them and back at camp. It was a nice start to the trip.

That's great man! Weatherman says tomorrow is supposed to hold out nice for you weather wise so enjoy because I think it is supposed to turn wet by Sat.

I'm keeping a close eye on the weather radar map.. Considering a run to camp with the 2 boys and a couple ATV's.
but the weather dont look good.

Started raining here about 1:15 pm. Now just a real heavy mist. The kind that soaks your face while walking from your truck into the building. Glad I mowed the yard last night!

Oh yeah.... Day after mine. Mini Man has his the day before mine. Mrs. Tzone and I have our 10 year anniversery on Mini man's b-day too. I took the those days off of work and I'm going to take him to Back to the 50's car show. He's never been there before and will have a good time.

Great weather here today, sunny and upper 70's. All going away on Saturday. Rain moving in and temps dropping to low 60's. Supposed to rain right through Monday.

Well I made it back from California. Whew. I dodged the gay and arrived safely at home last nite. Of course now it rains. On a somber note, a lady I casually know who bought a piece of furniture at my garage sale last weekend was murdered in her home yesterday.  That stuff just DOESNT happen around here. She was a nice lady, very friendly and full of smiles. She surprised a burglar in her house is what I have heard and he killed her. That stuff happens in Las Vegas, but not here.
What you do today is important, you are trading a day in the rest of your life for it.

It keeps getting weirder around here! No they havent caught the creep who killed the lady from Osakis that I knew. Then, yesterday at around 5 pm, a boat with 6 people in it went out of control and hit the shore killing 2. This happened less than a mile from me.
