Push feed in about 90-95% condition (a few handling marks, etc. Bore is excellent). Currently has a Nikon Monarch 3-9 on it. What is a fair price for it with and without the scope?
Thanks all, Kragman1

Just saw one last week at a gun shop for $650 with no scope. I went back 2 days later and it was gone. Kinda hard to find caliber in that configuration.

I thought $500 until I did a Google search. I think you could get $600 pretty easy without the scope, maybe more. Sell the scope seperately IMO.

Thanks guys. I also recieved a few emails advising me to stay in the $650 to $850 range, and gunbroker looks to be about the same. I may well be selling it. I should know in a day or so.
Thanks everyone for speaking up.

I'd pay $650 for a controlled feed but not a pushfeed.I have had three of the push feed 257 roberts, nice rifles.

Saw an individual at the Tulsa gun show last year have one for "Hoping to get $500 out of it". I was in the exit line as he was in the entry line, and they don't allow transactions around the door. I'm still kicking myself for not going back through the line to get it.

Thanks again Cheesy & coyo. I appreciate the info, and I'm probably going to sell it.
Now, does anyone have any recommendations for the proper way to handle the transaction? I don't want to make buying this a hassle for anyone, but I'm definitely going to cover my butt.

kragman - Gun Broker has clear instructions for handling the transaction and shipping. You don't need to go neurotic on this type of transaction/shipping like some folks do. I have had good experience with USPS Priority, insured. You just ship to an FFL holder when you have rec'd a copy of their FFL. You can confirm the FFL easily on the BATF web site.

Might as well try to sell it right here.No fees.Bricktop will guide you through shipping if you ask him.I would not use Gunbroker as a guide for what to charge. There are lots of Rifles on there with big asking prices, that never sell. You are competing with lots of people that have lost their jobs and are selling pretty cheap. So price it like you want to sell it.I would say ask $650.00.What you take is up to you.Sell the scope by it self. You will make out better this way.I have sold several Rifles this year at prices I would not have accepted three years ago,but you are dealing with a down market for Rifles.best of luck,Huntz
Its all right to be white!! Stupidity left unattended will run rampant Don't argue with stupid people, They will drag you down to their level and then win by experience
