old hunting partner e-mailed me about using an m-14 but plate on a calling rifle as the but plate folds out so it will rest on top of your shoulder. having spent many hours on a calling stand the advantage of the idea was obvious.wondering where i might pick up an m-14 but plate. or is there something else available that would do the job.

I have used a nylon shoulder strap. Hunters Specialties makes one they sell with a bipod for turkey hunting, but I made my own.
