The last cop show that I followed with any regularity was Hill Street Blues because I liked the format and especially Veronica Hamel!
The other one I really liked was Barney Miller.

When I was laid up after knee surgery 2 years ago, I started watching Cold Case in the afternoons. Good show and great music.
Currently I like NCIS and Blue Bloods.

That's a GREAT show! I never get tired of watching the criminal's reactions. More fun than a six pack and a bug zapper! While not a cop show, I recently discovered Lie To Me, and have really enjoyed. Bought the first two seasons and am watching the second right now.
