Anyone use Sierra Blitzking seconds? How did they shoot? Wondering if these will all hit same POI?

I'm told they are seconds only because of cosmetic faults. I've read many post by shooters that use them to the exclusion of all others.
Aim for the exit hole.

Look at the tips. Most are inserted backwards. Some have no tips. Think they'll fly all with the same BC?

Grind the tips off ... a friend is doing that with the FTX pills in a Ruger M77/44 rebuilt in 357/44Bain&Davis. Makes them a much tougher pill though. Cheers... Con

It would be an interesting experiment to work up a load with good ones, then shoot the screwed up ones into a group for comparison.

1400 West Henry Street, Sedalia, Mo., cheaper that way. Actually I don't shoot gummy tips, too old school for that the Blitz, Varminter, and Game King lead tips work just fine for me and have for a long time, see no reason to change. I have shot a bunch of them the sceonds that is you just have to look through them there will be a few with the tips messed up a few with damaged bases and every once in a while you will get a stray maybe a 20 cal or a .243 or something. One time I was reloading for a .308 using the 175's and a bullet looked long, it was it measured 190! Use at your own risk.

We bought them at West Henry street as posted above....They don't ship and you have to visit the store in order to buy them. Call them and they will fax/email their price list. It is usually 40-60% of full retail.

Well, yer lucky. At least you can get them. Now that you HAVE them, work up a load with the good ones, and load some up "backwards" and some with the tip shaved. May be that all you have to do is a sort.
