Ahh, surely there is at least one more Nevada draw winner here.
And I know, "Don't call me Shirley"...

And now to add to the post count, 25-06 or .270? :-)
It's a joke, I'm going with a 1954 M70 in .270. Anyone have an El Paso Weaver K6 with the post and crosshair you don't need so I can finish off the rifle?

I'm heading out east of Denio again. I like that area. It's real Nevada. High Desert, big open land.
I am holding out for a 6x Weaver post and crosshair. In fact, if that exact reticle was availabe I would by a brand L, S&B, Z, or N in a fixed 6x but it is not. Some are close, but just not the same.
I have a 4X with it and it seems just fine in field use to me.

Thanks.
I like the way the basin and range lands look. You find springs, creeks, and wells in the oddest spots.

Macrabbit, For that we have a century and a half of mines... In fact there is a death from falling into these every year or two. Watch for them if you are in a new to you area folks. Following an old trail on a bike or ATV can bring right up on (in) one.

Gives new meaning to "claim jumping".
