I had a Leupold Ultimate slam on my Bone Collector. I really liked that combo.

Ive used the same muzzleloader-calibrated scope with a TC Triumph for quite some time now and it works great. Three 50 gr. pellets + a 250 gr. Shockwave = very consistent recipe. The only variable left that seems to make much difference is seating pressure.

While I have had a Prostaff, and it was a decent scope, there are a ton better scopes out there. It seems you like you aren't willing to admit this, but in all honesty the Prostaff while a fine scope isn't great by any means.

From reading quite a few of your posts, you seem like a buddy of mine. He thinks everything he owns is amazing, and everything else is crap. When in reality most of the stuff he owns has just as many problems if not more than many of the things he says is crap. Heck, most of the time it's that his stuff is worse than what he doesn't like. That's how your posts come off as. I may be wrong, but that's the impression I'm getting here.

He has clearly stated he doesn't want a Prostaff (not that I blame him if he can afford something better), so why keep pushing one?

Gunner, I'm with you. That is exactly what I use and I am amazed at the accuracy especially when you dial in the Nikon Omega BDC to Nikon's Spot On Program. Guys are always amamzed they can use this with their muzzleloader. It is just as easy as entering your centerfire ammo into each slot. Makes a huge difference when it comes to pulling the trigger past 100 yards.
+1 on T/C Omega,Nikon Omega 3-9 BDC and Barnes 290Gr Sabot over 150 Grs. Triple 7!

I use a Leupold VX2 3x9 with the LR Duplex recticle. It has additional aiming points below the main crosshair. If you have ever shot a bow with 3 or more sight pins then you know what an advantage this is. A muzzleloader is dropping off pretty fast past 100yds so holdover is critical. Guessing just wont cut it. I hunt desert country for mule deer and this scope is great. If you can get 1 1/2" groups @ 100yds then 250 yd shots are not difficult. Just practice..

Dang right bman940, that 290 Barnes is a mean mofo, it drill's ping pong ball size hole's in deer and hogs up to 340 lbs. so far for me.
Ive yet to recover one, and yes, the omega is dead on, my bud's are slowly starting to see the light and converting over when it come's to inline's and scope's.
