Do any of you gentlemen, or any of you ol' sore head's, happen to have a handfull of .300 savage dummy rounds for sale or loan? Before I drag my press out, I thought I would ask. When I put the 99C back together, I want the rotor tension, and cycling to be correct. I figured this would be safer method. Thanks for your time fellas!

Shoot, as long as you don't cycle them the whole way into the chamber I don't see any reason in the world to not use live rounds. I lever them through the magazine and about halfway into the chamber, then reverse the lever throw to eject. As long as you don't go the whole way in, close the lever, and pull the trigger you're golden.
