Ordered another Barrel for my T/C Encore Rifle, it is on the way, I should have it by the week of August 22... .
My new prize is a 26" Heavy Blued .375 H&H Magnum Barrel!
Now to find another good scope to mount on it. I am thinking of another Burris Compact like the one on my Ruger #1s .338 Win Mag.
I feel like a kid in a Candy Store.

Congrats, Ken!
But, given your line up currently (.22-250, .260, .375H&H, and .50ML), there are some SERIOUS holes.
First, the long range dual-purpose caliber deer and smaller. .25-06 needed.
Then, the .30-06. Just cause. Sub in the .270 or .280 if you will.
Then, a short range thumper. I'm seeing the .45-70 Katahdin barrel set-up here.
Next, we need pistol barrels. Get a .221 FB or a .223 pistol barrel. You'll thank me for it.
Then, a .375JDJ
Oh, and don't forget the essential .45LC/.410. So much fun it's illegal in the PRK.

I have been kind of down in the dumps the last day or two, after a close review of my finances I had to call & cancel the order for my planned purchase of the .375 H&H barrel for my T/C Encore. We are surviving fine, even though we have exhausted the savings and we are slowly chewing on the credit cards, I finally got word that the insurance company I have been fighting with for 9 months is finally going to pay up. So that back pay will cover the balance due on my credit card but doesn't give me the fredom to invest in another gun barrel right now. Hopefully I will be able to reorder this prize after I kick this Cancer to the curb. --Ken

Hey Ken. How are you doing? Tough as you are I figured you'd be doing jumping jacks by now. Glad to hear the insurance is going to pay up. reflex264

ken, I hope everything turns out good for you. Please keep us posted on the 375 barrel. I have been thinking about get one myself and pairing it with the thumbhole stock they make at boyd's to help control the recoil. tom
