I'll tell ya' what,.....the Alberta Workman's Compensation that I bought, as an owner operator was THE BEST, and most well managed system that I've ever been involved in,......accident free performance being rewarded, and sloppy safety practices sanctioned.
I've nothing bad to say about the health care system, in 23 1/2 years of residence, I never used it all that much,......and the WHO "Travel Medicine Clinic" ( Which I used a LOT) fees for immunizations, vaccinations, tests were NOT covered by that system,.....another WISE policy.
Say hi to the " little sticks" for me !

Naw... let those of us with health insurance <with really high deductibles> keep paying through the nose while the must treat emergency medicine rules keep bankrupting hospitals left and right as the illegals keep flooding in for the "free<to them> treatment".
Oh and let's feed them and put their illegal kids through school while we are at it too...

Jeez,.....my charity gene took over, and I just pissed down my leg at the very prospect.
Look,....there's a bunch of displaced Hutus that chopped hands offa' Tutsis,....they ARE (Shouts) VERY nice people, just a little misunderstood,......I'm putting together a "Rescue Mission"....we want to drop these poor folks off in Hyanisport, Baltimore, and Raliegh.

Heck they won't even let a foreigner work either without a permit or unless its a foreign paid warranty issue......
Been stuck in customs a few times for more than a few hours....making sure I wasn't being paid by a Canadian company
Canada holds on to its dollars alot better than the US that's for sure.....
If 'ya can't put hot sauce on it, it ain't worth eat'n....

For the last 5 years Canada has had a minority Conservative Government that hasn't been able to implement their policies.Now this Government has a majority and will hpefully pass their crime and immigration bills and repeal our long gun registry,as they have promised to do.Canada is slowly swinging toward conservatism,kicking and struggling all the way;based on policies of smaller government and sound fiscal management.It ain't the Tea Party but we are finally headed in the right direction. The decision has been hailed as a significant and sensible one. Yep she picked the wrong country. Here she would have been brought up on charges just to ensure her health care was take care of non-grata
