Figured I'd throw this out there. I have a camper on Santee Cooper that I spend most weekends at. I don't have cable, satellite service, so at night I enjoy watching the old "victory at Sea, Wings" videos. I'd like to find some new material and figured someone here could pass along some good titles to look for.
Thanks in advance for any ideas, info...

The History Channel has a few series WW II in Color, The Atlantic, The Pacific, Dog Fight, Great Planes, Tanks, Ships. I think they are all for sale at their website. They run a bunch more but I can't remember the names.

The Battle of Britain, The Dam Busters, The Devil's Brigade, all those old John Wayne war movies like "They were Expendable" (about PT boats in the early days of the Philipines fighting), shoot, the sky's the limit there. On Wings of Eagles, To Fly and Fight, Midway, The Longest Day, A Bridge too Far, Patton, the list goes on and on.
You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.

One of the best is "the World at War" series, Great footage, great interviews. Since it was produced in '73-76, lots of ranking men were still around to be interviewed. There are about 15 episodes.
Murphy was an optimist.
