I posted this question in Savage Collectors, and I probably should have come here first.

We have an Irish exchange student staying with us. Monday we went to the range and shot 2 of my vintage Savage 99's, my Colt 45, an M1Garand, an AR15, and several other guns. He was going to take home an empty shell casing from each gun he shot. Now he's worried about trying to take them on the plane, and customs when he gets home to Ireland. Does anyone know if he can take the empties home. He's actually leaving today, so the question is can I mail them to him later. I was thinking about mounting one of his targets and puting the shells around the perimeter, maybe like a clock face. For that matter, I may just make a real clock out of the plaque, if that would help get the shells home to him, Joe.

I'm not greedy, I just want one of each.
