I'm thinking about getting a Stag Arms 8L. Any input on Stag Arms in general, or the 8L in specific?

Stag is my first choice in a AR, but I'm Left Handed and this makes me a little prestigious

I'm left handed also, hence the interest in Stag Arms.

I have a Stag lower and it seems well made, easy build up, shoots well. The Stag Head roll mark is a bit overdone but tomato/tomatoe. Nothing spray paint won't cover.

I run a Stag carbine model 3 (right handed) and have never had an issue. Not a real high volume guy but the rifle seems well made. I'd not hesitate to buy another.

Stag is my first choice in a AR, but I'm Left Handed and this makes me a little prestigious I didn't know owning a Stag made you prestigious; prejudiced, maybe, but I thought it needed to at least a Colt to be prestigious I own a Stag Mod 7, and feel better already!

I personally don't like colts AR's. Maybe i should have used another word to express my feeling about stag.

My buddy and I each bought a Stag Arms Model 8, but we are waiting to get together to try them out. Hasn't happened yet.

I've got a factory model 2. I've got about 1500 rounds through it so far without a bobble.

Although I'm a lefty shooter too but I just got my 6.8 put together and it's a right handed gun. Added an ambi safety selector and I'm good to go. I had a lefty stag 6L but it was just to heavy for my liking so I sold it. My 6.8 with scope and all of the gadgets weighs less that the stag did out of the box. It shot well and never gave me any troubles though. Black Hole Weaponry just came out with their left hand railed upper so if you want a different lh option it's out there. BHW Left Hand Upper

Yeah, the 6L is 10 lbs and the 8L is 6.8 lbs... Thanks for the tip on BHW, I'll check them out.
