I need to decide how to mount my muley from last year. He was very tall, good mass, but not too wide. Any ideas? I would like to see some pics of your favorite mule deer mounts.

Since he isn't the standard wide racked trophy go with a very hard left or right turn this will showcase his very tall rack.

Pick his best side for the outermost side.

This is a narrow Whitetail I killed a couple years ago. I turned him hard to showcase his best side over his poor spread.

I'm a little different... I actually like to accentuate an unusally narrow rack on a very high scoring, tall deer. This buck scores 180", despite a 14" inside spread. I opted for an offset wall pedestal with an acute turn back towards the front to accentuate the narrow spread. Unfortunately, it was hard to show off the 15" of kickers coming off the G2's unless you move to the side

Ummmm, I can dig your accentuating and methodology behind your reasoning, but for the most part, it's all twaddle cuz that buck is flat-out-freaking-big and would look big (and great) no matter how it was mounted. wink laugh

NICE buck!
