I mounted the 6.5-20x50 Conquest on my 1907 repeater last night, and this morning I shot it for the first time. My very first five shot group at 50 yards was right around .300", and the following groups averaged better than that, with a best of .200". The worst group fired was about .400", but most were in the .2" to .3" range. I was using SK Standard Plus loads, so I am hoping for even better accuracy with better quality ammunition. The good thing is, that the gun will shoot decently with affordable ammunition. The groups below are all five shot groups ,fired at 50 yards. I shot two 110 yards groups, that measured from .750" to .900", and both displayed some vertical stringing, that I am hoping will be lessened with better quality ammunition. The gun fed from the magazine just fine, but in 10% to 20% of cases, the case was extracted, but not fully ejected. I have ordered a couple of spare extractors, and springs, to use to try some modifications that supposedly cure this issue with the Anschutz repeaters.
