Outside a few minutes ago when it got too dark to see. Thermometer still read 101. Whew!

I did quit working at 2:15 last Friday when I officially retired . This week I have worked harder than and week for the last ten years!  My back is in full rebellion and my hands are swollen from all the darned work. I was self employed a couple of times in my life. I swore I would never work for that #^$**!!) slave driver again! Now it looks and feels like he is back! 
The first time I shot myself in the head...

I looked at OK weather yesterday at 3pm, there wasn't a reporting station anywhere in OK under 105 IIRC....
It sucks here. Me thinks it sucks there worse.
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Checked temps prior to leaving work yesterday, said it was 110 degrees, but felt like 109. Is that a wind chill? Cold index?

Ft. Sill is just north of us and we seem to be setting new heat records every day. No doubt if he is a native of NY he's sweating bullets....Last time we had it this bad was in 1980....

High today will be 73 with 70% humidity under a clear sky. The crew will be putting the hay in the barn today. I will be watching.

Per the news last night. 41 days +100, 34 In a row.
Of all weeks I am moving this week, I loaded a 33 foot gooseneck stock trailer by myself including a deep freeze, fridge, and all other furnishings. I kept 4 shirts in a rotation to dry. Averaged 2.5 gallons of water a day. When I left town last night at 10pm it was 102. Gonna swim today and unpack tomorrow. My body is out o gas.

after school yesterday I got on the tractor and bushhogged till dark. Didn't have to worry about getting off the tractor. I just melted a dribbled out of the seat.
