We had a twentysomething visitor stay with us about 6 mo ago. He showed me the late night Adult Swim line up and I have been staying up past my bedtime ever since...
Family Guy, American Dad and Futurama... flat crack me up Any other late night cartoon fans here?

TV, right? I can proudly say that I live TV-free. We have two TVs in the house, but I haven't watched them in a while. (Does turning the set on to "Dr. Phil" and "Oprah" count, while I'm doing other things?) Maybe I should start a new thread on favorite Dr. Phil quotes... B'sW

Okay so, I'm the only one on this message board, that is still rotting his/her brain out with television? Except Mrs. B, who is seeking enlightenment through Dr. Phil/Oprah?!?!

I thought you were talking about late night coed skinny dipping. I'm a fan of that. That show must be on one of those channels that the Mrs. has the parental lock guard set on

I got hooked in college. Family Guy and Sealab are two of the funniest shows on TV.

TV SUCKS, I don't bother with anything beyond the History Channel, Discovery and the Weather Channel and maybe TMC once in awhile.

Yeah, the Family Guy is pretty funny at times. It can go over the top too. I'm a fan of King of the Hill. Usually pretty clean, but still has some good one liners in it...

I haven't seen Benny Hill in 10 years, and that was overseas, occasionally you see it on PBS, Jed, your showin' your age. Benny Hill was and is Hilarious. Les

Any other late night cartoon fans here? Used to catch Inuyasha most every week. In retrospect kind of strange as I'm not a fan of any other anime at all. They had another show whose name escapes me, the story of Alexander the Great but set in some kind of mythical future/alien world. You watch strange things when you move out to a tiny apartment for a year and have nothing to do. Not on Adult Swim, I don't think, but South Park is hilarious and about the best and most deeply cutting satire on TV. I like it becuase they roast everybody no one escapes ridicule.
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

The family Guy is pretty funny, but my wife doesn't like it. Southpark is hilarios but we don't got cable.
Maybe to REALLY appreciate King of the Hill ya gotta live in Texas.

The only thing I try to catch on the tube is The Red Green Show. It makes me homesick.
