I sling my rifle over my shoulder, makes sense to do the same with a bow. Cabela's has a few of this type of bow sling, but slinging a vow looks more complicated, especially when you add a quiver full of arrors and a sight.

Do you guys have any recommendations for such a sling? Here in Arizona, it's spot and stalk, and we tend to spot these Mulies a loooong ways away........

Maybe you'll have more luck than I did...look a couple of posts below this one... I posted same question on another site too. Most folks seem to be suggesting the Primos brand slings. Some others suggested looking into www.gagarchery.com...

I guess we need to make this post controversial to get good participation. Maybe we can say those who don't use carry slings for their bows don't support the troops in Iraq?

I made my own from web material that I bought at the local hardware store. one inch webbing by as long as you think you want it. I use webbing keepers to make a loop on each end just large enough to slip over the cams. Once looped over each end of the bow, I just shoulder it and go. I made several for about a $10 outlay, gave my buddies each one and thay won't leave camp without them now. BT53
