lets hear about that nice truck T, XLT? Engine? It's really sharp man, I love white trucks.
I like the white too. It will look good when I get the black wheels and hopefully, black grill guard. I'm going to get a leveling kit in the not too distant future, but the topper comes before that. I don't think I'll need bigger tires with the leveler, I just want it lose the "rake."

I don't know how big in inches, but they're big. 265/75/18. Awesome, Mine runs 265/70/18 and my plans for replacement tires are to go to the 265/75/18 as it ads height and retains the same width on tire charts I looked at.
Something clever here.

Might loose some mpg if you bring the nose up too high Tom. Just something to consider, either way cograts, she's a beauty.

Isn't 5.0 equivalent to the tried and true 302 cubic inch?I grew up on cubic inches but I got kinda lost when the switch to liters was made.

I was traveling a back road through SD yesterday on the way home from our other plant and seen the gol darndest thing.
I happened to glance out in this pasture and there was a big 'ol white egret standing on a cows back. The cow was just walking along munching grass and the egret was riding along like they were buddies.
Don't see that everyday....

Thanks. Ya know, I didn't think of that. The level kit is about last on the list of goodies to get. There is a lot of rubber and rubber-ish moldings under the hood to block openings. I'm assuming most of them are for MPG increases. Two I saw are to get air to the intake box. I don't know if you've looked under the hood at the new 5.0l's but it's quite impressive. Headers, very functional cold air intake, big exhaust...stuff a car guy would add. I don't think adding an after market cold air intake would do much for this truck. Maybe add a K&N filter to the box would be all I'd do. I'll snap a pic if I remember.

Stan in SC Hi Stan! The older 302 wasn't a true 5.0l, the new one supposedly is. I think to be truly a 5.0, it would be 304 or 305ci. This isn't the same rascal as the old 5.0's The guys in the maintenance garage I talked to, were saying this is probably the best motor Ford ever made..in recent times anyway. Designed to last 200K+ miles. The dealership I bought it from builds "show cars" out of the new Mustangs and drives them to different shows around the US. Then sells them the next year. The shop guys are excited about all the goodies coming out for this 5.0l. This one is 360 HP. Torque is 380lbs.

Dave,
You'll smile when you hear this motor. It's angry at the world right from the time you fire it up. When you push the happy pedal, it growls angrily at the cars it passes, like they should be happy just to be getting passed by it.
I can't wait to hear it with duals.

You're just jealous BM because my Packer shirts say "Super Bowl Champs". The Queens sure can't say the same thing.

Griz, Dang right! But if (when) we meet, such attire shall not adorn you!
The only think I dont like about 18" tires is the cost of replacing them. I just bought some for my F250 and $1000 doesnt get it done for BF Goodrich All Terrain TA KOs.
I think I am gonna buy a bow and get into bowhunting a little. Wish me luck.

Another skeeter feeder climbs a tree with the stick and string. luck! Skeeter feeder! Thats a good one! And so true but I wouldn't give up bowhunting for nothing. There is just something about sitting in a tree. I got Colby's, my 13 year old stepsons, bow all setup for him on saturday. He is really liking shooting the deer targets. Don't think he will be ready to hunt this year. Or at least not until later in the season with lots more practice. I want to extremely limit his chances of wounding and not recovering his first bow deer.

Most of the tire packages are 18" or bigger now. Prices have come down. I can get a set of BFG's All Terrain KO's for $800. The goofy sized 17's on my Tundra were like $270/per

Myeahh, I agree with rooster on this one. You don't HAVE to learn everything the hard way.

I went into the bow shop with no preconceived notions. no brand loyalty. And sure enough, the one I like the most is the most expensive one I picked up. I stayed away from the bows over $1000 luckily. Havent pulled the trigger on one yet, but I am close. the wife doesnt seem as keen on this as I am.....
