I have quite a number of good friends that hang out here, so thought I'd post this here.

On Thursday afternoon, I went to pick up Mom to take her to an appointment and found her passed away in her living room chair. It looks like she went quickly and peacfully. She had been in poor health the past several years but it is still a big shock and a huge loss.

To compound things, my less than 6 month old computer went belly up yesterday, shortly after I worte the obituary for Mom, but had't yet printed. So I got to do it again on Deb's computer.

So if anyone has questions on stoves or other things, keep sending the PM's but know I'm a bit distracted and might not get back to you as quickly.

Thanks,

Ed T

Sorry to hear that Ed, the best to you and yours.

Take comfort in the fact that she passed peacefully and at home.

So sorry Ed. I know how it feels to lose a mother. Mine passed just 5 months ago at a young age. Hang in there. I'd like to say that it will get easier, but it hasn't for me yet. Prayers for you and your family.

God bless you and your family Ed. Don't care how old or how weak our aging parents are, you don't ever want to get to that day.

My condolences to you, Ed.

Be thankful that she died peacefully and quickly.
I lost my own Mom in March, after a short illness.

It leaves an empty feeling, that never really goes away.

God bless.

Very sorry Sir, prayers sent...

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.
