We boated over 60 and kept our 3 man limit of 45...in two hours. Most were between 1lb and 5lbs. Trolled more for Kings but only caught some mini Amberjack and Bonitos.

Nice pics. Nice day on the water!

The water has been too fresh this year we have not seem them up here yet. Killing the croaker though.

That is a beautiful shot of Perdido Pass. The Spanish are good sized too. I'm jealous, I haven't made it onto the water nearly enough this year. Between a one year old daughter and trying to get the house up to shape for an appraisal, my summer has simply disappeared.

Have fun eating those macks, you definitely did good.

Wow, I just found this forum. I've been hangin out on the Savage Collectors forum for a while now. We have a King tournament coming up the first week of October out of Harkers Island NC. I was invited to go to this tourny last year and have never had so much fun in my life. We caught a lot of fish, and made a few bucks each. I had never fished for Makerel before and didn't know what to expect. I only took one fish home, looked up a recipe to smoke em, and was real sorry I didn't bring home more.

Cograts on your good day on the boat. I may be giving you a shout for a couple recipes soon, Joe.

PS Heres a pic of my first King, and a litle shark.
