why is it that many of these people grow up and during their entire life never can figure out how to say words like
1. ask
2. Four
and a few choice others...

but before they are out of diapers, they can say Discrimination, M.F., know all about affirmative action, know how to sign up for welfare, know all about drugs, how to roll a joint.. know how to load a 9mm...and a few other choice talents that most white kids don't know and never will...

of course realizing all of that, labels me as a racist, instead of a realist...

but these people exist like this, courtesy of liberal white America, who keep these people living in this life style..

a liberal white thinks that black america can't survive and prosper on their own, without the help and assistance of white liberal America...

so in reality, who are the real racists here...

one can blame black America for living like this... but also blame liberal white America for enabling it and doing nothing to correct it, but doing plenty to substantiate it and keep the ball rolling...

Ain't that the truth. I spent two years sup-teaching in elementary and middle school. We had to sit at the table with our little hellions while they ate breakfast and lunch.

Did I ever get tired of watching the little leeches throw cereal into the trash because they wanted pancakes. Or throw chicken nuggets and milk away because they wanted pizza and cokes. Watch them trow away a hamburger and apple slices because they wanted a taco.

All food that us taxpayers bought.

It gets to the point where you think -- if you don't relish what is put before you free then you can damn well starve for all I care.

I can't say it any better than Seafire and Boggy.

Every year, my wife has to buy clothes for a few kids because they have nothing. She learned pretty quickly to tear the tags out of them because if she didn't they get returned to Wal-Mart for money.

I halfway expect to get a phone call one day telling me that one of the little darlings has killed my wife. That is just the way a lot of them are. They are animals. They are feral. That is just the way it is. It is kind of like the guys who handle live snakes, they all get bit eventually. If you work with the little animals long enough, you're going to get bit.

I don't care lib or conservative, there are some things that good men don't tolerate.

You don't beat women, you pay your debts, you work hard for what you have, you take care of your family, you honor your word, you don't let kids go hungry.

Parents and politics aside, somethings should be done just because it is the right thing to do.

Well put my friend. THAT's compassionate conservatism. To me there's nothing wrong with social programs provided we're providing for those who aren't using it as some sort of a dodge. A kid isn't trying to dodge anything, they're just kids.

Yep, do it all the time. My tray lunch is a buck and a quarter, but I give them $5.00 every time.

I really do recommend that you fells take an excursion and see for yourselves that Seafire and Boggy are telling the truth and fact. Why are so many of these "Starving" kids wearing $100 sneakers?? They all seem to have enuff for cell phones too. Schitcan the program.

I know that there are lots of kids that only get food to eat at school and the school even sends food home on Friday so they can eat on the weekend. If we are shipping food all over the world to feed non-Americans, them why not feed our own? There are a lot of racist here.

Just like .gov, getting any of this back on the right track is probably going to take some severe issues.

I don't want to see this country ruined, so its time to do it now, before it gets worse.

You'll also note that feeding kids should be the job of the parents and then charities... and we could all give more to charities if the .gov didn't steal more and more of what we have.

Its a vicious circle and to stop it, someone is going to get hurt. Personally I don't really care at this point, as noted, 100 buck shoes on kids on free food? Put an end to this nonsense. Other families will feed these kids. Who the hell feed my parents families in the depression? Their families, damn sure no .gov program. And they went without or with little at times.... And turned out fine. I"m about tired of hearing you have to wear this clothes or eat X calories a day to be able to learn... you have to WANT to do something to do it, and then you get it done without all the extra crap involved.

As a society we are already mostly socialist wimps.

I didn't read the whole thread, so this may have already been discussed. From the perspective of a retired teacher I must say I've never met a teacher who really liked the program.

On the other hand it is the teachers who have being held accountable to make sure Johnny succeeds. Not Johnny, not his parents, but the teachers. Kids with a full belly are more successful than those that are hungry.

We don't want to be the parents, but since so many parents are not doing their job it has become a huge part of our job. If you disagree with the program and it angers you that is fine. Just be sure to place the blame where it belongs.

Teachers are worried about one thing their next contract meeting.

Have .gov stop stealing so much of the people's money, and not doing the schit that charities ought to do, and either charities will do it, or... it probably didn't need to get done in the first place.

article in the statewide azzwipe paper last month about the free food programs. seems that you can go to various school facilities, no questions asked, no citizenship requirement, no income requirement, nada, and get 2dollar lunches and breakfasts.
One woman with something like 8 kids says sure helps with HER budget, and parents eat too.
They also mentioned having a couple of busses now to deliver food on weekends and during the summer to some of the housing projects. One of the facilitators of these programs was commenting how the parents don't really know what to do in the summer about feeding their kids.

As far a school lunches etc... been going on forever. Hard to fault a kid sent to school in unwashed castoffs toting that bag of cheetos.

Best thing for education? A squad that goes door-to-door slapping parents.
