--Original condition with sling studs
--Missing pistol grip cap but screw is in place
--wood is nice with no cracks or major defects.

Nice grab. Those 99R's are accurate, and you can always beat the critters down after you run out of ammo.

It's got a Redfield.. maybe it's one of those illusive 1950's 99RS's! Never hurts to hope.

Includes a Redfield. Otherwise same as a 99R. Which is why we never talk about the 1950's 99RS - trivial to create a new one out of any R. And I don't think we've ever seen one that lettered.

it begs the question then...who says an RS exists? Why not just an R that some jomoco factory ordered a Redfield for? I don't get it I guess...

Sounds like the one i just picked up from dealar tonight. Same lever boss code, serial # 689131.Factory drill and tap, nice weaver scope and mounts. Thougt mine might have had a blued rotor but looked closer and is case hardend.
