Found this site for upgrades to the #1. Does anyone have experience with their work? Seems like a good deal for $400 if all goes as stated. A really accurate 338-06 AI sounds good to me. Heres the link http://www.eabco.com/Ruger03.htm

i've only seen work they accomplished on silhouette pistols. if thats any indication of their general shop procedures they were great. very accurate and the work was professional. also timely.
PLEASE EXCUSE CAPS. I AM HANDICAPPED AND ONLY HAVE ONE USABLE HAND FOR TYPING, THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.

Heres the link http://www.eabco.com/Ruger03.htm No experience with their work but I've bought all of the Number 1 parts, Moyers #1 Trigger Upgrade, Moulds #1 Speed Hammer, and Hicks Accurizer for Ruger #1 along with a Limbsaver. Took all parts with my Number 1 .45-70 to my local gunsmith and had the installs and custom work done there cause I just don't like the idea of shipping my guns in these times. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" /> Really well pleased so far.. So well, in fact, that I've got my 1V .223 standing by for the same work. bill

I've had him work on a couple of Encores, (trigger job, re-crown, french gray) he does good work. I've also had him french gray a ruger security six and it turned out great.

I had them rebarrel my BF pistol I thought of using in silhouette shooting. I did have an issue this the work, they used the wrong reamer from what was specified, but they did make good on it, but I was still out the $50.00 to ship it back to them. I will say they do good work, but the lead time on a simple rebarrel uncluding doing it twice was like 10 months.
