I just received mine from Rick Bin today - several minutes ago in fact - and haven't looked at it yet but just mounted one - a 3x-9x - for my friend on his new Kimber 84 Montana in .300WSM.

While no scientific comparison with eye resolution charts or anything like that but I layed it along side a Leupy 6.5-20 Mark 4 30mm LR/T (50mm obj.) at dusk last night and studied the pine boughs about 40 yds away with the powers they had in common - 6 through 9.

Let me just say that with my eyes with these two samples, the little Ultralight fared vary favorably. It also came to only 8.5 ounces on my scale (adv as 9.5 ). I believe that this is just the former Compact line with upgraded optics.

Rick also had the lowest prices of the sources I had checked.

What did total weight of rifle/scope/mount come to. It's always nice to have an actual weight rather than rely on advertised weights.

His Montana in .300 WSM, kimber bases and low Leupold rings and the Ultralight 3-9 came to 6lbs. 14 ozs - very sweet indeed.

I also recently bought two 3-9x33 EFR Leupolds (plus some accessories) from Rick Bin. I had them mounted on my U.S. Mossberg M44s (.22 rimfire rifles). They are great!
