$799? Maybe for $79.90.
Some things just weren't meant to be. That's one of them.

Those MPI stocks aren't cheap. While the $799 is way high in my opinion, it would make a good mountain gun. You just have to find a hunter who wants it, cuz there's no collector who does.

Wow - not even "free shipping" pulled someone it. I suppose if a guy needs a hunter, and particularly if you hunt in a harsh or very wet climate, this might be a fine tool.

Maybe if the barrel was stainless rather than bluer? A lot of folks like that stuff nowadays, course a lot of folks walk around showing their underwear so I guess that doesn't say much for them.

The finish on that stock reminds me of the splatter paint inside the trunk of one of my old cars.

Perhaps, but it won't blend in with the rest of my guns!

Might blend in well in the woods though.... That's true. It might. Then again, if my Granddaddy didn't need a splatter painted plastic stock to hunt successfully then I don't think that I do either. Not that I don't like modern conveniences like AC and cruse control, etc. I just think that things have their place and time. Then again, as I've said before, I'm still a little suspicious of fire and the wheel. I do like levers and prefer post and lintel to arches.
