I just started that juice diet(from Fat, sick, and nearly dead) 3 days ago. Lost 9 lbs so far.
I don't think I had fully realized how much I like food until the past few days.

Couple of things coming up. Today 8-24 I'm having a heart procedure. On 9-22 a colonostopy.
Prayers offered that all will be well.

Be sure to weigh after that colonostopy. wink

To be honest, its the carbs i find hardest to cut out..I really miss fresh bread, pasta and potatoes...Candy I can take or leave, but cutting down on carbs is a killer..

Should add that I am at 202lb this morning, but expecting to hit a plateau any time soon..

Then you better get rich. wink I worked a booth at the State Fair last week and saw a number of knock-out women with old, nothing-to-look, at guys. I'm thinking their bank balances were pretty attractive. smile

I'm way past worrying about picking up hot chicks anyway. I have a wife I love and kids I won't disappoint. I want to lose the weight for them so I can live longer and be a grandpa to their kids. The kind that takes them for rides on the four-wheeler and not the Hoverround. grin

Start - 258.6
Week 1 - 254.8
Week 2 - 250.0
Week 3 - 245.8
Week 4 - 243.6

I've been dieting like PeteE. Counting calories is the only way I lose weight. I try to stay withing 1700 - 1800 calories a day.

I bought this digital food scale which is pretty handy. You can use a plate or bowl, press a button and it resets to zero so it will only weigh your food.

I also find this site really helpful in figuring out how many calories different foods have.

I haven't been able to get into the doctor's office latley to get weighted, but I'm still really watching what I'm eating. I should be able to get in there and get weighted next week.

Alright Gents. It's Wednesday morning-time to weigh in.

Start-192
Week 1-185.5
Week 2-182.5
Week 3-180
Week 4-180 frown

Week 5-175.5 smile

My clothes are fitting better, my face and neck are getting thinner and I gained back a long unused notch in my belt. Heck, I was taking off my boots the other day and realized that I wasn't having to hold my breath! I'm not enjoying the dieting, but I am enjoying the benefits of it.

Hard drinking and heavy eating this past weekend during our pre season hunting party. Luckily I ate well before and after and still managed to lose a hair.

This is getting addicting checking in and seeing how well everyone is doing.

Good job fellas!
