I always love to start this thread this time of the year...here are some pics from last year's elk hunt in New Mexico. We had a blast. Help me out here....add a pic or two and thanks for looking.

View in a little basin where my buddy got his 7x7. I got a fat mama cow there as well.

Mountain Lion tracks...had three hanging out with us during our hunt. One morning I had "tracks in my tracks" when backtracking...always fun to see that!

I was just working out of Red Rocks NWR this last week. I love the Centennial Valley.

I know it was a dink, but my buddie had never been elk hunting and this one walked by actually ran in to a cow call and he said take it. Was the best elk I have eaten to date, so spikes take note! I will be back in 17-days. Can't waite!
