Rough day, at least for an old guy.  Worked at my Son's biz until noon. When I got home, found that a large limb had broken off one of the Oak trees, and smacked the fence. I cut it up as best I could, and then my Son came by to handle the large pieces. As I yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO", he tossed the largest section over the fence and it landed right on my chain saw. OMG, the front handle, the one that was smashed, is $57 from Echo. Cheapest I can find online is $29. I'm gonna bill that rascal that tossed the wood.

I've seen big commercial saws in the PNW get crunched too. Saws like Stihl 040's & 075's. Everything from timber being fallen on them to being run over on the landing by a loader. They crumble like the small ones, it just costs alot more to repair or replace.

Try about 2lbs of ammonium nitrate fertilizer & kerosene slurry with a blasting cap fired by a Model T coil off a tractor battery!
