What has that got to do with it, there are good doctors all over the world.

And many die waiting in socialized systems. What's your point. He couldn't have done it elsewhere?

Oh, I hope that he isn't the same Canadian doctor whom my friend Patsy had such faith in. She spent quite some time up there under his "miraculous" treatment, then came back to Montana "cured" of cancer

 and died from cancer.

I have no idea what the OPs point is,I do know that some of the Cancer specialists up here are as good as those south of the border. That's according to my radiologist buddy in Shreveport LA.I know that in 3 weeks I'll be smoking a bull moose even though I've had 4 tumors in my liver for the past 6 years. The standard of care and the treatments I've been through are as good as I could have received anywhere else in the world.I have no complaints,I ain't done yet and I intend to keep hunting til I drop! grin Monashee

Any new treatment for cancer is a GREAT thing regardless of where it comes from.

Unfortunately Ken the world is full of people offering miraculous cures for cancer, and getting rich from peoples misery and pain.As far as I know(and I've been in the Canadian Cancer system for 7 years now),no Canadian Cancer specialist can offer a miracle cure, they all know there isn't one.Naturopaths, faith healers, and the like can take your money and say whatever you want to hear.I have friends who have gone for "miracle cures" in Mexico. One of them is still alive. Most of them spent a lot of money to gain little time.I'm afraid that your friend must have run into the same kind of thing.Doctors within the Canadian system are not paid by the patients, and cancer doctors up here work by commitee in deciding treatment, just as in the States. My sympathies to you on the loss of your friend,it saddens me every time I hear of another life lost to this disease. I agree, and this discovery sounds quite promising.

I agree as well, these new discoveries will not help people like me or others that we all know, but eventually will benefit our children and all who come after them.Is it to much to hope that one day the world will be cancer free?I hope one day it will be. Monashee

Sounds like a good thing but "engineering" mother nature can have some vicious consequences. Sure hope for our sake that it doesn't mutate into a virus that has a bigger appetite!!

Biden's most truthful quote ever came during his first press conference, 03/25/21.
Drum roll please...... "I don't know, to be clear." and THAT is one promise he's kept!!!
