It is supposedly a complete new cartrige. They are accurate as all get out but sure cost to shoot!

hey T I can give a full report. I shot a few clips and it is accurate and expensive. the action was a bit large but still manageable the whole outside was poly plastic youknow stuff and durable. clip change was fast and easy dual safety and easy to shoot recoil and report was mild but the noise was differant asto hear the slug whistle on most shots. out to 150 yards was easy and very flat and accurate. I am sold.

Yes, I test fired the first one we got in, I like it enough I wish my daughter could carry it on duty, hell 20 round magazine! It was a tack driver for me too, and the damage it did to wet newspaper and full gallon jugs of water.....................................
Bob has sold 20 some of them in the last 6 months.

Unfortunately, the Five-Seven is becoming very, very popular with folks who ought not have firearms in the first place due to the ability of the rounds to defeat body armor of various levels (depending on the load) at surprising ranges and, when coupled with the hit probability and firepower of that round, well, it's bad juju...
Just a little FYI - but there are several shops in my area that, because of this trend, will not sell the Five-Sevens other than by special order and normally only to law enforcement or other "known" purchasers.

well, you know what is next!
they will improve the body armor...
Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

The body armor thing is over rated, the currently available stuff is fragible and won't defeat level II and up. And only tiny peices of jacket material (non life threatning) in a level I. Trust me, we have tested It. It is just hype but should have the panty wetters screaming for a ban shortly.

Agreed - but there is ammo out there (and gettable) that ain't frangible.
Just another something for liberals to grab ahold to during the upcoming prostitution, err, election cycles...

The neo-fascists who want to take our guns will lie about anything. If you can't own a 5.62x28 FN or a 90-gr carbide tipped solid copper .357 round, then you can't own a .30-30 or anything larger.
Either you are fit to own guns - all guns - or no guns.

Like I said - the problem is that the Five-Seven is becoming QUITE popular with people that ought not own guns at all... (i.e. thems that deal in otherwise controlled substances for cash or other valuables)

How are you going to ban a handgun from "the wrong people" without banning your hunting rifle and handguns?
It sounds like most dealers are refusing to sell to punks. If someone did use an exotic piece like this FN in a crime, so few have been sold and so little ammunition, that the suspect pool would be very small and easy to find.

<sigh> Point missed; delivery (from me) must've been the problem.
I did not, nor would I, advocate for a ban of ANY weapon from any citizen who can LAWFULLY own one. Them's that cannot lawfully own them is another matter (you know, like those involved in drug dealing and/or convicted felons?).
Yeah, MOST dealers are refusing to sell to punks - but the punks are finding them that will.
My point is, and was, merely that this handgun is becoming popular within those circles.
