The lines of the action don't appeal to me at all. Especially the way the hing for the under lever is not recessed into the action itself but exposed on the bottom of the action...adding bulk to the bottom of the receiver.
With a starting price $14,000, I would definitely be looking at a Dakota FIRST. Hell, you could order a Dakota WITH a wood upgrade and still come in around half of what Soroka wants for their base model.

I like the Dakotas but they seem enough like the #1 Ruger that I'd have trouble paying what they ask. I just thought the Sorokas were interesting. I do like the fact that they look more like an original Gibbs Farquharson than the others.
