The pickup thread had a little discussion on color of trucks. It made me curious as to what most people here have for a color of their rig.

Mine is the old fashion white. I like it because it doesn't show dust to bad as the wind blows here a lot. Another thing I like about it is that it is quite visible to others and doesn't blend into the background easily. Also, it matches the color of the Wife's trailer. laugh

What color is yours?

Your Truck is not an American so it don't count.
The only color for an american Truck is Red, and must be a Chevy. more fords are made overseas than in the us,they don't count. Dodge never was a Truck so it don't count. grin

My truck is a charcoal color. Closest thing I could find to the color of the dirt around here.

both my GMC and Taco are tan, though the factory called it puter or somesuch for the GMC (figure they'd hired some gay guy in some workplace diversity movement or sumpthin)

I try to go tan or silver as I'm not big on washing trucks

White for me, the one and only color for a rig by my way of thinking.

My truck is RED. Tried others and it never seemed quite right, so I'm back in RED. And love it, by the way.

Red but I did not choose the color. It was on a lot, low mileage, exactly what we wanted, and I had enough cash in my pocket. For real, $7,000 in hundreds. The dealer wanted $11,900. I told them I had seven even in my pocket and showed the roll. Said that was all I had in my truck fund and if they could make it work including all the transfer fees and such then they had sold a truck. They took it.

metallic gray/blue - hides dirt well. I'm always shocked when I was it at how dirty it was.

Prior one was silver. Hides dirt well too. Blood not so much.

I bought this truck used so no choice in color. I don't know what Toyota calls this color, but it's kinda pewter/mocha/grey/brown with metal flake. Not my favorite color, but it has grown on me and it matches our camper accent colors very well. That's Lake Michigan in the background.

(edit to add-I just looked it up. It's some designer color called Pyrite Mica, whatever that means crazy .)

The last vehicle I bought new was a white '02 Tundra.
